You've - Already - Been Restored

Approximately February, 2026, I was studying Isaiah 43:19 as it was a focus scripture for Tiffany Montgomery's 2026 Year of the Bride fast.

The Year of the Bride fast is one that I recommend for anyone wanting to break generational curses and combat spiritual warfare. Here is the link to the YouTube playlist (https://www.youtube.com/live/tmIuj27_grM?si=2Rec0f_GPL7nBSW7). It is a 25 day fast and includes a video for each day. 

Isaiah 43:19: Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. 

This was profound, as it is a declaration that God is doing a new thing and a call to recognize his provision and restoration in the wilderness.

On the night of July 3, 2026 i recall hearing Jekalyn Carr's You've Been Restored song played on Pandora. At the time, I was unsure why, but, I played it over and over.

On the next morning, July 4, 2026 [ 4th of July, Independence Day]. Suddenly, I read the title of the song differently: You've ALREADY Been Restored. One word, but the world of a difference. 

Then, I was reminded of Genesis 21:19, where God opened a grieving Hagar's eyes to see a well in her drought. Its as if there was a check in my spirit and a realization that reminded me, with emphasis, that restoration had already been completed - even if in the midst of grief, brokenness, fear, worry, or doubt I had not  fully recognized or experienced it yet .

Genesis 21:18 And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.

Well: In biblical times, wells were essential sources of water, serving as vital resources for daily life, agriculture, and livestock. They are frequently mentioned throughout the Scriptures, symbolizing sustenance, life, and divine provision.

My prayer is that God opens our eyes to see the “wells” in our wilderness, helps us to recognize the new things that He is doing in our lives, and that we receive the restoration and provision that He has already prepared.
