A sure thing - Isaiah 55: 10-11

God reminds us of His promise—and even gives us imagery we can understand—to reveal the certainty and power of His Word, Scripture. Just as rain falls from heaven and causes the earth to grow, God’s Word is never released without purpose. What He speaks will accomplish what He intends.

 Isaiah 55:10 (NIV) As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
